RC-505 Loop Station

Looking at the RC-505 Loop Station manual:

On page 17, it seems to suggest that a lot of its functions can be controlled be MIDI CC messages received from an external device (like the Motion Synth), via a MIDI cable with a 5-DIN connector.
On page 29, under 'Receiving Control Change Messages', it describes how to start setting up this type of control.
