If you are using Model #2 of the Motion Synth Grip (iPhone 6, 6s, and 7), follow the steps shown in the two images below.
If you are using Model #1 of the Motion Synth Grip (iPhone 4s, 5, 5s, 5c, SE, and iPod touch), then follow the video instructions here.
First, swing the key divider away from the grip to clear the way for insertion of the iPhone.
The plastic part for gripping your iPhone is highly flexible, and designed to snap into place around your iPhone when you follow the steps below.
Once your iPhone is inserted and the key divider is swung back to contact the iPhone screen, the assembled unit should look like that shown in the image below.
To later remove your iPhone, simply reverse the above steps.
Note that Model #2 of the Motion Synth Grip includes parts that can allow it to be converted to a Model #1 version. This conversion is not reversible. Please contact us for further instructions if you wish to make this conversion.
The video below explains how to fit your iPhone or iPod touch into the Motion Synth Grip, with the mute and volume buttons on the edge closest to the strap (i.e. NOT closest to the hinge).
TIP: You may need to adjust you Motion Synth Grip to avoid slippage of your iPhone or iPod touch.
iPhone 4S users: Use the Key Divider, relative to the Keys on the Key Screen to get the correct left-right alignment of your iPhone 4S within the Motion Synth Grip.
By orienting your iPhone or iPod touch as described above, the most comfortable way to operate the Settings Menu while wearing the Motion Synth Grip, is with your palm facing your body as shown in the picture below:
