Just out of curiosity, any chance of offering OSC support - so we don't have to juggle the network midi setup?

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your message.
Very keen to hear more about how you are using OSC (e.g operating system, software, hardware, etc).
We have not focussed on OSC yet, as we are not clear how popular it is amongst the AUUG community.
MIDI over bluetooth and USB are currently alternatives in case that is less problematic than wifi:

I would just really like to see OSC implementation after using AUUG for a while.
MIDI is fine to use as a musical instrument, but I find my use of AUUG to be more focussed as a controller, meaning I'm having to bend (not pitch bend) MIDI data to be used as a workaround.
I'd like to see all motion transmitted as standard OSC, as well as all 'button' pushes in the same fashion. It would just open up a lot more possibilities, not to mention making all my work easier.

Thanks very much for that feedback Matt. Great to know that OSC is valuable to you work.
Is there any particular software you are using that you would like to send OSC to (from the Motion Synth)? Also if you have any examples in mind of the new possibilities OSC would open up we'd love to learn more.
I'm sure you are already aware of these features of the Motion Synth app, but just in case not:
- Motion/orientation data can be sent as high definition midi (if you need high resolution control):
