Re: Glissando Feature
Very cool, thanks for posting!
That is the first time the glissando module has ever been used to control another app. Great to know the iRig pro can capture audio from an app running in the background. For anyone without an iRig, the MusicIO (audio version) can send audio to a laptop via your iPhone (lightning) cable, though the the Motion Synth you would probably want an extra long cable!
Incidentally, if you do any other improvisations we would love to see a video!
Even if it is just to see your hand, it would be great to hear how the sounds are connected to you actions. But no pressure
. Thanks again!

Re: Glissando Feature
Thanks for listening.... maybe I can capture something on video another time!
I've taken the original sound file created with Motion Synth and NLog MIDI apps, and played around with it in Ableton (extracting the MIDI melody and harmony, adding some filters, pan and reverb to the original sound file, etc.):

Re: Glissando Feature
I really like the choice of instruments in this track; great to hear the same midi data transformed into a different ambiance! Were you triggering notes through touch and motion, or mainly just using motion?

Re: Glissando Feature
I was triggering initial notes via touch screen keys (sent straight to NLog MIDI Synth app on the same device), then using motion to create glissando effect (again, sending MIDI to NLog). Hope this provides sufficient explanation!
Re: Glissando Feature
That is clear, thanks for the explanation!
