The description mentions that the pad sound is being controlled by the AUUG MS (motion synth). Is that the voice-like sound beginning at 0:16 min? If so that is a very nice evocative pad! What aspect of expression is being controlled by the MS? Is it the volume/swell or is the MS controlling the switching between the vowel sounds?

The motion synth was supposed to be controlling the filter frequency and resolution of the synth pad voice, as well as some of the reverb on the sends. However, now that I've gone back into the project, Ableton isn't showing the captured adjustments that were made in realtime...

Interesting! Thanks very much for elaborating on those points.

The song description mentions you are just testing things out, but if you ever get the chance to quickly video the actions you are using for control those effect parameters I think other users would find it very interesting. It is a great example of use!

Are you saying that some of the MIDI CC messages that are effective for control during your realtime performance are not being recorded as MIDI events into ableton? If so, which MIDI cc numbers are and are not being recorded?

Sorry for lack of replies - the track was done quite quickly, and the first time I was recording with AUUG Motion Synth, so I didn't really capture the relevant data and forgot to save the preset....
